How can i get Adobe Flash Player to work on my laptop?

Okay so i just bought a new HP Touchsmart tx2 series laptop and i’ve been tryin to download Adobe Flash Player using Firefox. I go through the entire installation and it tells me its installed but there’s no icon on my desktop and it didn’t work So im confused how to make it work go i can run some gadgets on my desktop.

    lol you look a noob whatever You can’t see the Desktop Icon because Adobe Flash PLAYER is a run time support software so you can’t use it directly it just a supporting software for documents that made with Adobe Flash (not Player Flash Builder or Maker)

    just imagine you visit this site
    so if you can see anything (not the Need Adobe Flash Player Require Message) then you already run on Flash Player I guess it just like Window Media Player you can’t make anything on Media Player but you can play Audio Files/Movies on it.

    You don’t need to double click icon and run it directly. If you can watch flash web-page with your browser that it means Adobe Flash Player has already worked for you.

    adobe flash player is not a program like windows paint. It’s a plug-in that works for some video and games and to play some annoying ads on your internet explorer, firefox etc etc. You propably need to rester the firefox browser to activate the plug-in. If there is a missing plug-in firefox will let you know and will recommend with an external link to install..if its not working you might need to reinstall it
