Expected salary with Certifications, CCNA, MCSE?
Hello. I’m 20 years old. I will be done with my Associates Degree in Network Administration in September. I have my A+, Net +, Linux +, Security +, MCP. I’m working towards my MCSA, MCSE, CCNA*– Then CCSP after I graduate.
These certifications are apart of my degree.
How much do you expect I should make? I live in Louisville, KY.
Is the Cisco 827 router a good practice router for CCNA?
There’s an online store selling multiple 827 routers, would this be a good model to buy? I plan on ordering two of them.
Career advice in Software Engineering and Networking?
I am an undergraduate in Computing and my career path is mostly in the programming/development side in which I’m planning to start my career with (as a developer). I’m also very much interested in networking/security and am currently pursuing a CCNA and maybe a CCNP later on. My long term goal is to actually be in the network security field with certifications like CISSP and CEH. Is it possible? or am I making a mistake by trying to focus on two very different fields at once? Should I rather be concentrating on my programming skills? And in that case will my CCNA (upon passing) go to waste?
PS: From where I am from, there is a lot of vacancies in both fields.
I have taken IT and CCNA courses. But i am working as a secretary. I want to be an IT pro. What do u suggest?
I wanted to refresh my courses taken and look for IT jobs world wide. I need some advices to implement.
How feasible is it to study personally for CCNA certification without enrolling for a formal training class?
What is the possible success rate / chance. i dont have the resources to get enrolled for formal training
