SEO is done to have natural search results for a specific search phrase to return a specific website. SEO services target a search phrase (like “dog training”) and try to rank a specific website (like “doggyschool.com” I totally made that up.).

It is done in two parts: on-page and off-page. On-page is the act of configuring the site itself to be optimized. That is, the site is built in such a way so that search engines, like Google, Yahoo and Bing, can best understand what the site is about, that it is related to the target search phrase, and that it is a good-quality site.

Off-page is the act of “convincing the internet” that the target site is highly correlated to the target search phrase. This is done primarily by “link-building”, ie: having lots of high-quality, related sites linking to the target site. The search engines see links from one site to another as a sort of “vote” in favor of the linked site. Lots of votes, done in the correct way, results in better rankings in the search engines.

It is not Direct Marketing. Direct Marketing is when you target a specific customer with a specific offer (such as physical mail that arrives in your mailbox with a credit card offer for which you have pre-qualified).

Consider a blog topic on internet bullying. It is rampant on many sites. I have recently been participating on Yahoo Answers and the problem is so bad there it makes it difficult to enjoy quality interactions with others. It is assumed that most of the bullying is young people who get a kick out of it, bored and just stirring up trouble. I would like to know from them if possible why they do this.
It is so prevalent, there is even a name for them…Trolls. Ask around and others will confirm this.

This would be complicated.
First of all, a port would have to be open in the firewall specifically for RDP [remote desktop protocol in Windows]. By default, Windows uses port 3389 for RDP which is fine for remote connections to the server. But for a particular machine on the LAN, a different port [3390 would work] must be opened and assigned to the IP number of the Host machine.

Unfortunately, your IP number is probably dynamic. A problem which could be circumvented if you were connected directly to the internet but not with you behind the network server.
