I heard that in some countries airport security checks the content of your hard drives!? I have a lot of work related data on my laptop which I do not want to be copied by anyone when I go to Australia next month. Encryption of approx. 10 gb would take quite long I’d guess
So is there a chance they are gonna search my harddrive?

Hi ,
I am going to be travelling from Australia to India, and I have two laptops. One of them is not working (is approx 3 yrs old) and I need to leave it in India with my folks. The other laptop is my new laptop (1 yr old), which I cannot leave here.
Can anyone tell me if it is allowed to carry two laptops internationally, esp from Australia to India ? None of these is a gift and none of them is in new condition.
Pls help ! Thanks !

Im an experienced telecom cabler from New Zealand and I want to get an ACA license in Australia. To get a job in Australia, a telecom cabler must have an ACA license to become eligible to apply. My search so far in the net told me to study first and take an assessment. Must be another way to get the license for those who have the experience in the job.
