How do I Import/Install a .reg file when using Windows System Recovery console.?

I have exported 5 .reg files from a working laptop and need to import them to another laptop, I only have access to the System Recovery Console and therefore command prompt, i have burnt the files onto CD and tried to run them but i just get a message saying “the command is not recognized”
Please help.
