Any information, if we (and how) are going to update the OS in a phone. Or is it tied to the device, and can not be upgraded. At least on PDAs, which I used years ago, it was not possible.
of course I am asking about the new phones and if it will be possible to update the OS (like I am doing for the iPhone – click, click, wait, updated)
Just interested – how good and easy it will be done.
And if there is some information about it, not guesses.

I have a triband world phone and im trying to activate my virgin mobile service on it i know its possible but virgin mobile doesnt use sim cards so im not sure how to can anyone help me?

I’ve talked to people who were using VOIP and the sound quality would vary from normal (as good as a land line) to what I call “ham radio operator quality” during a given call. I also have a friend who got VOIP from his cable company and he lost connectivity enough that he ended up getting a cell phone as a back-up. Who out there has found a VOIP service that works as reliably and with sound quality as good as land line? Anybody?

I have t-mobile and can’t switch to an iphone. I want a phone that is most compatible with all of the apple products such as my MacBook Pro laptop, ipod, and ipod Touch. I want to “sync” all of the programs such as “contacts”, “calendar”, “notes”, etc. between my phone and laptop. I don’t want to use Google products that use “cloud computing” as I’m not comfortable with level of security. Any suggestions on the best phone that would accomplish what I want? It has to be a T-Mobile phone.

Ive been trying to watch youtube videos on my phone which hs windows mobile 5 but the problem is that when i go on youtube and click on a video it tells me that i can see the video.
Once it played the sound but not the picture and it happened ounce out of about 25 is there any software on my phone i should download since my phone is a pda as well?
