The home computer shows the wireless (2WIRE) is working, but my laptop, in the same room, cannot find a single network to connect to. Any ideas what the problem is and how I can fix it? Try to explain things simply please, I’m not exactly a tech guru.

Are there any alternatives to linking the xbox 360 up to an extra wireless router or bridge to the mainframe router located in a different room, too far for a long ethernet cable to reach.

Or if there are no cheaper solutions is it really worth coughing up £60 for an official Microsoft Xbox wireless network USB device?

I have 2 laptops with the new windows vista they both have wireless cards they keep losing their internet connections i have called tech support but they say anything isnt wrong can someone please help i also have a desktop with xp it is wireless also but it does not lose its connection could someone please help me
