I’m in the process of starting an organization dedicated to keeping reusable and recyclable items out of the landfill. I rented several storage units to store items. The manager donated the use of another unit. We were evicted without just cause. At the time I spoke to the manager and explained that we would not be able to move the items by the date specified because we’d just given them all of our money and because our truck had just died. We’ve cleared out two of the four units but still have items in the donated unit and one other unit. The management locked is out because they thought we weren’t moving items out quickly enough. The maintenance man allowed my boyfriend to move some things after we were locked out. The management is saying they are going to throw away all of the remaining items in the donated unit and to auction the items in the other unit. We’ve also found out that the maintenance man opened the rented unit and had another tenant go into our unit to remove some items the maintenance man wanted. What recourse do we have?

My problem started out with the Directory Services not being able to start up on my 2000, so it immediately shut itself down. I fixed that problem, but now the computer complains that it’s paging file is too low, and its not letting me log in. Is there anyway on my Windows 2000 that I could re size the paging file in BIOS settings or something (blue menu) without having to login? I sure hope so.

Im looking to be able to add a digital signature in PDF documents but I don’t have Adobe Acrobat installed onto the computer. I do have Adobe Reader 9, which is a free download. There is another computer in the office that does have a version of Adobe Acrobat. I dont want to have to purchase another version of Acrobat just to be able to create a digital signature on my computer, so can I copy Acrobat off my other computer and install it onto my other one? I would greatly appreciate any help.

I’m looking for an operating system I can download with only the UNIX terminal. I don’t want a gui because I want to get used to the UNIX command line, and I don’t want to be able to work without it on this computer, like the Ubuntu os I have now. Can anyone direct me to wherever I can download an operating system like this?
